ITINERARY 

 

08:30 hrs: Hit the road in the morning and head about 1 hour away from Chiang Mai to the Mae Wang District. Once there we enjoy a rare opportunity at elephant riding. After that we will drive to a Hmong village to see their preserved way of life passed down through generations and from there we head to a Shan Village to observe their way of life and to have lunch, the Shan people originate from Myanmar.

 

After lunch we will trek to the stunning Mae Wang waterfall where you will explore this gorgeous gem and if you want, take a dip in the mystical waters (bring a change of clothes!). Heading onwards we drive to the bamboo rafting camp where you will experience bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang River before returning to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon.
